On the international front, this March Phillip Adams returned to Mexico with support from the Australia Latin American Foundation, to complete the commission for Lux Boreal, a Mexican dance company, premiering in the Festival de Mexico of March 2011. This work Lamb draws on the same conceptual materials as Above (apotheosis, reincarnation etc.) with aspects built in that reflect Mexican culture. If you weren't able to jump on a plane to Mexico for this groundbreaking work, expect video footage from the production to be available on the BalletLab website from May 2011.
